Original Minds helps companies understand why people choose what they choose — a brand, a service, a product. We're not trying to sell you anything; we want to learn from you.
So we ask, one conversation at a time, about something you actually did — what you wanted to achieve, what you weighed up, and what made the difference.
Use the link at the end of your conversation, or the link in your invitation, or email privacy@originalminds.co.
Original Minds Oy (Business ID 3625863-6), Perämiehenkatu 12, 00150 Helsinki, Finland ("Original Minds") is the controller of your personal data in these conversations. Contact: privacy@originalminds.co.
Your answers, written or recorded; your answers to a few screening questions; your consent choices and when you made them; technical data needed to run the conversation, such as the link you used and the times you answered. We don't ask for your name, and we ask you not to share other people's details or confidential business information.
To understand how people make choices, for Original Minds' research and for the companies we work with. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given separately for each choice on the consent screen.
We never sell your answers or your personal data, and never use them for advertising. Companies we work with pay for our analysis. Companies we work with: our analysis, never your name or contact details, and quotes that could identify you only if you agreed. Service providers process data for us under data-processing agreements: Anthropic (USA), which runs the AI interviewer and receives your written answers; ElevenLabs (USA), which turns spoken answers into text, only if you choose to speak; Vercel, which hosts the site, with servers in Ireland, as a US company; Supabase, the database, stored in Ireland. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.
Recordings are deleted 30 days after they're turned into text. Your link and anything that connects your answers to you are deleted 12 months after the conversation. Before then, we also remove names and other identifying details from your written answers. After that, your words are kept without anything that identifies you, for as long as they are useful to our research. Asking us to delete: for 12 months after the conversation we can find and delete your answers at any time, and we do so when you ask. Once your answers can no longer be connected to you, we can't find them individually.
No automated decisions are made about you.
You can withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting what happened before. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or ask us to limit its use. Use the delete link at the end of your conversation, or email privacy@originalminds.co. You can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live, or to our lead authority, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi).
